Story
A rainy day in Central Europe, in a backyard. Cold and wet, as is so often the case in England, and then the bright spot: this beautiful and rare chest. I saw it and bought it immediately. The leather was reattached to the wood with hide glue, then cleaned and refreshed with leather balm. Original lock from the period, no key.
