Story
This rare armchair (No. 2) by the Austrian architect Franz Schuster was a serendipitous find. I visited a rectory in Upper Austria that was about to be vacated after seeing an advertisement. I had originally purchased a kidney-shaped table from the 1950s. When I went to pick it up, these wonderful armchairs suddenly appeared, which the pastor had chosen for his private quarters. After so many years, their condition wasn't the best, but they were simply wonderful. In our workshop, the armchairs were re-glued and the surface preserved. A rare original in top vintage condition, ready for the next few decades.
