Story
An Austrian attic revealed this little beauty. Handcrafted in perfect form, it stood there, seemingly without any connection to the house where it was discovered. I can't say much about this vase, only that it is very precisely made. It's a red ceramic piece on which cranes were hand-painted. Then it was given an artificial crackle finish and glazed, similar to the Raku technique. It has a wonderfully pleasing color and likely dates from the second half of the 20th century.
