Story
On New Year's Eve, I set off again, having discovered Harald that morning. No party is planned this year, and the pieces H. offers are simply too good not to visit and see in person. Lower Austria, slightly rocky, a bit desolate, when the GPS announces "Destination reached." But where exactly? My eyes scan the landscape, and then, up there, someone is waving. In front of an old E-shaped villa, 100 meters above the main road, impressively perched on a rock, I receive a friendly greeting. I cross the road in my van and drive 10 meters uphill to the hidden parking area. Piled up before me are the 13 artifacts I had reserved this morning. H. tells me the eventful history of the house and even takes me up into the villa, where I discover even more pieces. He's parting with some objects, but prefers to keep others. On the way home I feel deep satisfaction, with myself, with my work, with the people in this world, and I am simply looking forward to 2022.
