Story
Herbert H. Schultes studied engineering and design in Munich. In 1967, he co-founded the design studio Schlagheck Schultes Design with Norbert Schlagheck. As a partner, he worked on the corporate design of renowned companies such as Agfa, Marker, Atomic, and Braun, as well as on projects for Siemens, Bulthaup, and ClassiCon, among others. From 1985 to 2000, he was Chief Designer at Siemens AG and later Managing Director of Siemens Design und Messe GmbH. This accomplished designer was also involved in establishing the industrial design program at the Munich University of Applied Sciences and taught industrial design at the Cologne Art Schools.
