Offered here is an antique three-legged stool carved from elm root wood. Indentations, notches, and signs of wear characterize this piece, testifying to a very long history and the versatile use of this object. This is precisely what fascinated me when I discovered it, and when I speak of decades of use, I'm probably greatly understating it. A very simple object with incredible charm. Cleaned and waxed. Still perfectly usable.
