Story
With the "Spider" floor lamp, designed for Oluce in 1965, the Italian industrial designer and architect Joe Colombo won the 9th Compasso d'Oro in 1967. This wonderful object of design history is also part of the permanent collections of the Milan Triennale, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Kunstpalast Düsseldorf, and the Neue Sammlung in Munich. A key element of its design is a special Cornalux B22 hammerhead bulb with a white semi-mirrored finish, which shines only downwards but is also visible from above thanks to an opening in the reflector. The original bulb is included in this offer. :)
