Story
These wonderful Rococo-style wall sconces were probably made around the turn of the century. A good hundred years later, they stared back at me, covered in a thick layer of grime, from the bottom of a banana box. They had apparently been stored in this box for decades, because after some vigorous digging, the original candle imitations, handmade from wax and paper, were found at the bottom, almost undamaged. Cleaned, polished, and polished, they now shine again in their former glory.

Good condition, with a beautiful age patina
