Story
Angelo Gaetano Sciolari was an Italian industrial designer best known for his lighting fixtures created in the mid-20th century. Sciolari came from a family that had been manufacturing lamps since 1892. In the 1950s, he began designing for the Italian manufacturer Stilnovo , creating pieces in both polished and matte metals that reflected futuristic visions of the emerging Space Age. His work is considered part of the Mid-Century Modern style. This wonderful Sciolari piece can be mounted on the ceiling or wall. It also looks stunning simply placed on a dresser. Light bulbs are not included.
