Story
In a small shop in Vienna, in a spare room in the back courtyard. I rummaged through all sorts of things, both plausible and unimaginable, and piled them up outside because, as usual, the room was crammed full of stuff right up to the ceiling. Ha! Teak! I was delighted. Because, as is so often the case, teak means Mid-Century Modern, and in this case, even Austrian School from the 1950s. Back home in my workshop, after a few hours of loving care, the first coat of oil balm was applied to the wood. Now it shines again in that rich, wonderful teak color. The patina was carefully preserved.
